It is a well known fact that the Lisbon Strategy is not just about more jobs, but about more and better jobs. One of the key areas of concern of the Strategy is training and education, or, as put by the “Copenhagen Declaration” (2002), “the development of high quality vocational education and training is a crucial and integral part of this strategy”.
