The government approved in a Ministers' council the decision to publish the sanctions for infringements regarded as very serious in terms of prevention of risks at work. (Ref. 070411)
The new royal decree, approved on May 4, 2007, completes article 40 of the law on infringements and sanctions to the August 2000 social order, which in turn goes over the law on prevention of industrial risks approved in November 1995, which planned that “sanctions imposed for really serious infringements will be published, under a form which will be determined by way of a regulation”. This publication, planned as soon as the law was elaborated, never came into effect until now.
