On 21 Decembre 2016, management at the Suez group (water treatment, electricity, natural gas, and waste management) signed a European agreement on employment and skills management with a part of its EWC and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU).
The agreement was negotiated with a special negotiation group sourced from the EWC. Analogous to provisions established from earlier French company negotiations on the topic, this agreement implements a process for predicting the evolution of business activities and anticipating the development of organizations (mapping businesses, skills to be enhanced, and recruitment needs).
