When we learned that what was planned differed from what had been initially announced, i.e. that the sale of T&D in a single chunk and the new configuration of the operation (ed.: an Alstom/Schneider Electric consortium) would result in a dismantling of Areva’s T&D unit, it became urgent for us to fight for our T&D colleagues whose fate and future was becoming more and more uncertain.
