Austria: average 3.65 percent increase in computer services

rtners in the Austrian computing industry agreed on an average 3.65 percent wage increase for the sector’s 40,000 employees on January 1, 2012. The lowest wages will get a 4.1 percent increase, bringing minimum wage up EUR 1,300 before tax. Finally, the provisions of the 2011 collective agreement on the wage increase’s modalities are extended. It lets employers exclude up to 25 percent of staff from the wage increases or pay them in the form of single bonuses. (Ref. 110793)
