Containing all the agreements renewing the national collective agreements of the private sector signed this spring, as well as the provisions defined in these agreements for sectors that couldn’t reach an agreement and cross-sectoral measures defined in the final bargaining session between DA and LO, the “conciliation proposal” (mæglingsforslaget), published on March 26th by conciliator Asbjørn Jensen, from the arbitration institution, was approved by a majority of LO members during the referendum, the results of which were published on the evening of April 20th. The collective agreements negotiated since January 2010 are thus renewed from March 1, 2010 through March 1, 2012.
