On June 17, 2026, Schneider Electric France's management (15,000 employees) and all representative trade unions signed a first-ever four-year agreement on the employment of experienced workers. The agreement, which falls within the framework of France’s 2025 legislation on employment of older workers, introduces new commitments regarding knowledge transfer and establishes a framework for post-retirement professional activity.
The 2026–2030 agreement on the amployment of experienced employees, signed on June 17 by the management of the electrical equipment specialist and the trade unions (CFDT, CFTC, CFE-CGC, CGT, and FO), aims to establish a “common, clear, and coherent framework applicable to all Group entities in France” for employees aged 50 and over, who represent nearly 43% of Schneider Electric’s workforce in the country.
