Germany: Bosch Solar Energy signs first company agreement in solar power

h Solar Energy AG, Bosch Solar Wafers GmbH and Bosch Solar Thin Film, Bosch’s subsidiaries in Thuringia, signed the first true collective company agreement in a sector that is promising but that is still a “white area” in terms of union presence. The agreement, which came into force in early August 2011, affects 2,000 employees and is partly inspired by the regional sectoral agreement signed in the metal industry.
