Great Britain: consultation on the regulation on automatic enrolment with workplace pension funds

Context.  As a reminder, this new law means that eligible workers will be automatically enrolled with their employer’s workplace pension scheme, without any active decision-making for the employee.  Currently, many workers miss substantial pension benefits because they failed to request registration with the workplace pension.  This Act should come into force in early 2012.
