Italy: 5th national congress of the Flai-CGIL, the food federation, focuses on union unity

“The Flai-CGIL to defend and free rights” was the title of the 5th national congress of the Flai-CGIL. The federation, which negotiates 17 national collective agreements (affecting nearly 2 million workers) in agriculture and the food sector, also presented its first “social evaluation” of the results of the union’s activity. The 484 representatives elected the 169 members of the management, who re-elected outgoing secretary Stefania Corgi.
