It is the legislative decree n°195 of April 10, 2006 (Official Journal n° 124 of the 30.5.2006) which transposes directive 2003/10/EC, concerning the minimal regulations of safety and health relating to the exposure of workers to the risks due to physical agents (noise). This directive sets the thresholds of exposure to noise and obliges the employer to take measures to protect the employees’ health when certain thresholds are exceeded.
