Explaining that the “different local agreements” signed since the demonstration was called on June 28 “gloss over the main reason which gave rise to the debate within IndustriAll,” the two unions claim that the “fair grounds for solidarity between the workers of the threatened sites” have been replaced by “the Fiom’s general motivation to protest against Fiat with no clear, concrete goal to offer the workers.”
