After the mobilization call launched by the FGTB on September 16, 2008, the Christian trade union confederation (CSC) decided, on September 18, to join the FGTB's initiative to organize a day of action in favor of buying power. It will take place on October 6. (Ref. 080707)
On September 18, Luc Cortebeeck, leader of
the CSC, joined the FGTB in blaming the federal government’s inaction (see our
