Unicredit: global union alliance within the group

Improved cooperation. Last week, 13 national unions and the members of Unicredit’s EWC launched a global union alliance. In a communiqué, UNI Finance said that the rapid integration of European banking systems and the emergence of transeuropean actors created the need for better cooperation between Unicredit unions. This agreement is part of the international union’s strategy to improve employee representation in finance. At a time when the entire financial system is being questioned, employee participation in credit establishments is still very rare in many countries.
