United States: Barack Obama supports the UFWC against Tesco

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) asked the US Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama, to urge the British company Tesco to recognize the union in the US. This stance and the union's commitment let American union organizations hope that a Democratic victory could help restore collective relations in the country and fight companies' anti-union practices.
